Gri11 2.0

Grill 2.0

In Grill 2.0 we have 4 spaces to learn in and we are very lucky to be able to use them.

The Hideout is a little side room that targets spiritual and it is a quiet room.

The Hangout a little side room that targets Social/teamwork so people work together in there.

The Hall of Fame is a narrow and long room it targets Mental and Emotional so it is calm in there.

My favourite place to work is the Hideout because it is a good place to go when i really need to get some work done it is a great place to go if the hub is too loud for your liking.

These are the GRi11 2.0 learning space logos...

The Hub
The Hub is coloured mainly green because it is mostly a 'social' space, but does target the other colours too.
The Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame is most colours of Hauora because it is Social, Mental and Emotional, Spiritual.
The Hangout
The Hangout is green because it is a social
The Hideout
The Hideout is blue because is is a silent space

And those are all of the spaces in GRill 2.0 this yearImage result for smiley face

Epro8

Epro 8 challenge
The day had come.
The day we had all been waiting for.
It was time, time to compete against 12 other schools.

We walked confidently into the hall. Two teams was already there. As more of the teams arrived we saw how the odds were against us. We had a 1 in 12 chance of making it to the finals. Finally all the 12 teams had arrived. The the man from Epro8 came and explained what we had to do. The same desperate glint was in everyone's eyes. We would all do what ever it took to win.It was a race to the death.

We worked furiously, competing against the clock. Time was running out. We worked faster. Challenge after challenge we completed, but it wasn't enough. Minutes were being counted in a slow, torturous, agonizing way.

10 minutes...

We worked harder than we ever had before.

5 minutes...

Our hands were literally flying in the air.

3...2...1....

Gri11 2.0 At Sixtus Lodge

Horse-Riding

One of my highlights of camp  was definitely riding the horses.
I got to ride Coco,a beautiful midnight black horse with a white strip down her nose.
At first I was a little bit nervous because Coco was all excited and was moving around.I had only been on a horse once in my life.
We rode them all around a large field.Coco kept on stopping to eat.
Then came the real challenge, we had to guide our horses through an obstacle course. Coco was only interested in a big patch of grass so then the instructor had to come and pull her all along the course. What a naughty horse!
After that me and one of my friends got to feed Coco.
